Welcome

Welcome to Iris Barnes School of Dance!

Iris Barnes School began its life in the 1940′s, by the late Iris Barnes – a great inspiration to everyone she taught! Iris’s life was to dance and she always maintained that everyone deserved the chance to dance regardless of age, ability and disability.

Sadly Iris Barnes died in 1989, but her love and inspiration for dance lives on at the school and amongst it’s pupils.

Iris Barnes entered its Diamond Anniversary in 1999 and I hope you will take the time to look around our website and to get in touch if you need any further information.
